John V. Morgan

Education: MBA from The Wharton School-University of Pennsylvania, B.S in Physics and Minor in Engineering from Oakland University.

Background: John began his real estate development career in 1992 for United Airlines working on numerous large commercial projects including the development of luxury airport customer lounges. In 1994 John was appointed company-wide manager of Capital Improvements and was involved in the development and construction of a $523 million maintenance facility in Indianapolis. John began residential construction in 1997 to bring superior homes to Chicago. As the son of an architect, John was inspired to pursue design and construction. John also enjoys sailing and playing in a jazz group on weekends.

Christopher Bremer, AIA

Position: Senior Manager

Education: Master’s in Architecture from Tulane University

Background: At Savane, Chris has been deeply involved in helping clients realize their dream homes. With close collaboration, he brings his design expertise together with our client’s desires to create a stunning home. Prior to joining Savane in 2005, Chris previously worked as a project architect for Holabird & Root, LLP and as a Project Manager for Sullivan Goulette. At Sullivan Goulette, Chris was deeply involved in the code/zoning research, planning/design, construction documents and client/consultant coordination for single family and multi-unit residential designs. He also was involved in the design of a 100,000 sq ft educational facility at Western Michigan University, residential and commercial development as well as code/zoning research, planning/design, construction documents and client/consultant coordination. Chris enjoys playing soccer on the weekends.

Scott Wilson

Background: Prior to joining Savane in 2004, Scott had nine years of experience previously as a frame and trim carpenter building single family homes and performing renovations for multiple luxury construction companies. Scott enjoys coaching a Rugby team on the weekends.

Ruthie Stebbins, Interior Design

Education: BA in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder
BFA from the Harrington Institute of Interior Design

Background: Ruthie moved home to Chicago in 1999 to work with local fashion designer Jane Hamill. Fashion design became interior design when Jane asked Ruthie to project manage the build-out of the new space for the Jane Hamill boutique on Armitage Avenue in Lincoln Park.   With Jane’s blessing, Ruthie pursued a BFA from the Harrington Institute of Interior Design. After receiving her design degree, Ruthie worked for nearly five years with renown designers Karen Pearson and Blaine Johnson of JP Interiors, gaining experience in high-end residential interior design and decorating.  These projects were located through-out the city, as well as across the country. Ruthie has also provided interior design on private consultation since 2000.
